This two-day course provides an introduction to aromatherapy and massage in a clinical setting. Aromatherapy and massage techniques have been shown to be invaluable for supporting people with complex needs and to help understand challenging behaviours. They are also an excellent way to support people with learning disabilities to lead a more ordinary life.

Jane Harrison M.A, Dip TM, Dip A, Massage Therapist and Trainer, Hands on Publishing and Training. Jane has worked for many years with people with learning disabilities. She has a particular interest in supporting people with multiple disabilities and understanding those who sometimes have challenging behaviour. She has been delivering this course since 1989.

Jan has worked for a number of years delivering aromatherapy courses and training in healthcare settings for Shirley Price before moving to Canada where she founded the Institute of Aromatherapy and became Chair of the Canadian Federation of Aromatherapists. She is now based in the netherlands and with Sue Jenkins BSc MIFPA delivers the Shirley Price Aromatherapy Diploma in Hinckley to students wishing to join the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists or the Federation of Holistic Therapists
